China Stop Road Construction in Arunachal Pradesh after Army Seized Equipment Jan 9 2018 8:09 AM | China has agreed to stop road-construction activity across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near Bishing in Tuting area of Arunachal Pradesh, with Indian troops returning the two earth excavators and other equipment seized from Chinese workers in the region last month.
Kerala's flood-hit massive destruction has killed 324 people over the last nine days and more than 2 lakh people have been displaced, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said, issuing a fresh rain alert for the battered state. The state, battling floods and landslides, plunged deeper into crisis yesterday, with hospitals facing shortage of oxygen and fuel stations running dry.
