CBI Court Sentenced Lalu Prasad Yadav 3.5 year Jail Jan 7 2018 8:07 AM | A special CBI court Saturday sentenced RJD chief Lalu Prasad to three and a half years imprisonment in a second case related to the Rs 950-crore fodder scam of 1990. Lalu and 15 others were convicted on December 23 but were not immediately sentenced.

Guwahati: FIRs have been filed against TMC West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Assam for her alleged offensive comments and warned of a 'Civil War' in the aftermath of the publication of draft National Register of Citizens (NRC).
The Dibrugarh district unit of BJP Yuva Morcha filed an FIR against her with Naharkatiya police accusing her of trying to fan communal passion and destabilize Assam. In Lakhimpur, the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad filed another FIR against her for her alleged attempt to foment unrest.
